Among the international guests, besides of Milo\u0161 NIkoli\u0107, president of Libek inaugural meeting was attended by members of American organizations which advocate tax reform and the protection of taxpayers, American for Tax Reform (ATR) and Tax Payers Protection Alliance as well as representative of the Lithuanian Free Market Institute.<\/p>\n<p>In the presence of media and guests, founders emphasized that the goal of the new association will be to represent voice of taxpayers, strive for specific reform policies that would improve the business environment and work to strengthen new fiscal culture in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>Greeting new partner organization, Milo\u0161 Nikoli\u0107 wished them, among other things, to quickly become strong shield of taxpayers which will, unlike other types of shields that defend them from foreign attacks, defend citizens of Ukraine from unjustified attacks and pressures of their own government.<\/p>\n<p>Training with useful advocacy advice from international partners was held on second day of the founding meeting. Topics ranged from strategic planning, media communication and cooperation with international and local partners to examples of campaigns such as Tax Pledge launched by ATR and Libek&#8217;s Defence the Wallet campaign.<\/p>\n<p>We wish our new international partners success in their future endeavors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Founding meeting session of the Ukraninan Economic Freedoms Foundation was held on Thursday, December 10th in Kiev.
