{"id":13348,"date":"2015-11-20T09:42:07","date_gmt":"2015-11-20T09:42:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/libek.rs\/?p=13348"},"modified":"2021-07-07T09:43:05","modified_gmt":"2021-07-07T09:43:05","slug":"libek-in-the-united-states","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/libek.rs\/en\/news\/libek-in-the-united-states\/","title":{"rendered":"Libek in the United States"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At this year&#8217;s most important conference that gathers libertarians from all over the world, Liberty Forum, which was held on November 12th and 13th, our organization was represented in New York by Milo\u0161 Nikoli\u0107, president, Petar \u010cekerevac, executive manager and Milica Kosti\u0107, communication manager at Libek.<\/p>\n<p>As a regional director of European Students for Liberty, Milica received the 2015 Smith Student Outreach Award. During the conference, she also participated at the panel\u00a0<em>Motivating Millenials: Can the Freedom Movement win over the next generation?<\/em>\u00a0where she spoke of Libek&#8217;s educational programs. Milica stressed the importance of values in education and provision of practical opportunities for young people through mentorship programs and focused professional guidance which is very important for us at Libek.<\/p>\n<p>In the wake of the conference, Milo\u0161 Nikoli\u0107 participated at the Think Tank MBA, an all-encompasing educational program by Atlas Network that gathered twenty-two managers of similar organizations from all over the world. Main idea of the program is to enhance institutional capacities of organizations, above all in the field of strategic planning.
